Laura H. Nirider, Staff Attorney with the CWCY, has been with the Bluhm Legal Clinic since June 2009. Prior to joining the Clinic, she was a litigation associate at Sidley Austin LLP, where she assisted in the trial of a multi-billion-dollar merger dispute. For the past year, she has joined Mr. Tepfer as one of the lead post-conviction attorneys representing Brendan Dassey, whose case gave rise to the largest investigation in Wisconsin state history. She has also led the CWCY’s involvement in the notorious West Memphis Three case, one of the highest-profile murder cases in Arkansas history. Ms. Nirider graduated from Northwestern University School of Law magna cum laude in 2008 and is a member of the Order of the Coif.
